_getRefererUrl()

/* Check url to be used as internal */
_isUrlInternal($url)

For redirect URL:
$url = "http://example.com";
Mage::app()->getFrontController()->getResponse()->setRedirect($url);
For redirect with path and arguments:
Mage::app()->getFrontController()->getResponse()->setRedirect(Mage::getUrl($path, $arguments));
